Happy Mother’s Day 2015

Dearest Moms All Over the Wold,

This is for YOU!!!

Today is your special day, when the world remembers how important a Mother is. You mean the world to your kids, even if they don’t or can’t show it.

Ever heard the joke “If you want breakfast in bed, sleep in the kitchen?” Well, maybe you didn’t wake up this morning and get breakfast in bed ( I didn’t ), but you have someone in your life that appreciates that you get out of bed and makes them breakfast, even if they cannot say “Thank You.”

I know that we moms of special needs kids always worry, the kind of worried thoughts that lull us to sleep at night. Thoughts like: Am I good enough? Am I doing enough? If I could be more disciplined, my child would do better….as if we had the power to reverse or heal our child’s disability….

Stop blaming yourself! Your child’s success and failures are not a reflection of your parenting skills. Trust God, because he holds all of us in his hands.

The other day I read something beautiful: “Don’t worry about tomorrow, because God is already there.”

Here is a wonderful video I saw, and I would like to share it with you.

Enjoy and Happy Mother’s Day 2015!

Remember: You are enough, you are beautiful and you are loved!!!
