We Are Going to an International Music Festival in Korea Tomorrow

Yes, it’s true, Christina and I are flying to Seoul, South Korea tomorrow!

We were invited by Special Needs Olympics Korea to participate in their International Music Festival in Pyeongchang.

Pyeongchang

Wow! What an honor! I still feel like I am dreaming.

Christina will be representing the United States with her piano playing.

Pyeongchang music festival staff will pick us up from the airport, and take us to Alpensia, an InterContinental Resort, nestled in the mountains, where the event will take place as well. It is also the place where the athletes stay for the Winter Olympic Games.

Alpensia InterContinental Resort

We will have an interpreter, who will help us with everything.

I don’t know exactly what to expect, but apparently they will have lots of music master-classes with very famous teachers, concerts, Olympic games, classes and a final ceremony.

Also we will get a 2 day tour of Seoul and the surrounding areas.

Hopefully this event will stand as an example as to how important music is to a nation’s culture, and that we need to include those with special needs, because we can learn so much from them, plus they belong to society and to the human race!!!

I promise, I will take lots of pictures and report back to you about our experience.

Maybe America and All other countries can start such International events?

For sure this contributes to peace in the world

Now I better go and pack my suitcase.

Please pray for safe travels for us.

Music Transforms You
